This animated anthology series features original stories set in iconic video game worlds. Video games have made a huge leap onto the screen, and we celebrate the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations for film and TV. Clive Standen reprises his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the protagonist of the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game. Refers to Movie Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). I’ve always wanted a series like this. When I watch movie trailers or video game plots, I often think that some of them would be destined for television at the most opportune time. I knew that the creators of Love Death and Robots would create another animated anthology series, and I’m glad I was right. The Warhammer episode has been a standout for me so far, and I really hope we see more of it in the future. My only complaint would be to spend more time on certain episodes. There are so many compelling video game stories that this show can delve into and adapt into detailed episodes, the possibilities are very exciting, and I’m glad that I’ve fully embraced the grittier, more mature tone. I’m very happy with what’s been shown so far and can’t wait to see what’s next. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres of the month.
